I was born and raised in the great city of Dallas, Texas for 18 years. I then came to East Texas to play volleyball and study nursing at UT Tyler, where I graduated from in winter of 2020.
My testimony (may or may not be stolen from John 9) put in just a few words is this: I once was blind but now I see. The truth of the matter is I ran in the complete opposite direction of the Lord all through middle and high school until winding up in college incredibly lost and in desperate need of a Savior. That’s when the Lord opened my ears to the simple gospel and I began a walking relationship with the Lord.
Through that season there were many refining moments but none more significant than my time spent working in college ministry. I worked for Grace’s college team all four years of college and fell in love with the organization and college-aged girls. I experienced so much growth and sanctification through the transparency and hard truths shared in small groups and knew I wanted to continue working in ministry even after graduation. During the fall of my last semester, I felt a calling to the younger generations and the Lord opened up this really cool opportunity with Grace Student Ministries. I get to now share the gospel with middle and high schoolers every week and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time.
