I was born and raised in Tyler and have been a part of Grace Community Church as long as I can remember. I was saved at a young age and have been pursuing the Lord ever since. I attended Grace Community School from Kindergarten through 12th grade. After high school, I went to Mississippi State University, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Food Science.
I began serving with Grace K!DS in the nursery not long after I moved back to Tyler and fell in love with those babies and this ministry. In Huddle one Sunday morning, Teresa mentioned that there were more opportunities with Grace K!DS and I reached out to her, thinking that there were simply more ways to serve. During our conversation, I learned that the opportunity was for a paid position and after much prayer and many discussions, I left my job as Quality Assurance Manager at a Bakery Plant and became the Preschool Director for the OJ Campus. I never imagined I would work in ministry but am so thankful that the Lord led me to this team!
After being the Preschool Director for two years, I stepped back in order to take care of my daughter. My husband Jonny and I now have two sweet girls, Evangeline and Briella. I am so thankful for the opportunity to still serve part time as the OJ Elementary Coordinator and spend so much quality time with our girls! It’s truly amazing to see how the Lord guided me and has provided exactly what our family needs. I love Grace K!DS and would love to chat with you about our ministry!
