I grew up in a tiny community between Chandler and Edom. From the earliest time I can remember I was attending a small country church, learning about Jesus and observing how my parents and grandparents lived out their faith serving in the church. I was saved at a very young age during a revival when the preacher asked “Who wants to go to Heaven”. Later in life, because of the nature of my “salvation experience”, I began to question whether or not I had truly surrendered my life to the Lord. At the age of 19, I confidently made the decision to follow the Lord and was baptized in the same country church where I was raised.
I married my high school sweetheart right after graduation and two years later we decided to begin our family. We have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, who are now adults themselves. As they were growing up I worked part time as an administrative assistant in my home church and then in another church. I loved having the opportunity to be a stay at home mom.
In February of 2013 I joined the Grace K!DS staff as a part time operations director. In God’s perfect timing, right after my daughter graduated from high school, I was given the opportunity to be full time. I feel so blessed to serve alongside such godly people who are constantly challenging me in my personal walk with the Lord.
