Serve A Senior

We’d love your help in serving the senior members of Grace Community Church as they navigate the challenge of being homebound due to the Coronavirus.  If you are under 60 years of age and healthy, please join us in running errands for and encouraging our more vulnerable senior population during this difficult time.

How does this work?

Just click HERE to sign up to be paired with a senior individual or couple who attend Grace Community Church. Once we have a match for you, we will email you contact information for your senior(s) as well as guidelines regarding the best and safest ways you can serve them.

What will be expected of me?

There are 3 main ways you can serve your senior:

  1. Run errands for your senior so he/she doesn’t have to leave his/her home.
  2. Check on your senior with regular telephone calls to see how they are doing and to cultivate an authentic friendship with them.
  3. Send encouraging notes, cards, scriptures, etc. to your senior in the mail to remind them that they are not alone, and that they are loved by you, by the church and most importantly by God.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please don’t hesitate to contact Brittney Hood,

Carter BloodCare

Due to the precautionary measures the nation has taken over the COVID-19 pandemic, the local blood supply has depleted.
