The “Day with Dads” program arranges a Saturday for fathers inside a prison unit to spend quality family time with their children. It includes board games, a pizza lunch, playing catch, musical chairs if space allows, and sharing the love and hope of Jesus. It is a special time that helps improve relationships between incarcerated fathers and their kids. Participants are able to make positive memories and keep families together and not let actions in the past define their present. For inmates to be eligible, they must have a record of good behavior for at least 6 months, and the children must be 18 or under.
