The Early Education Center exists to provide a Christ-centered environment of care for children of working parents in the East Texas Community. As you look into the various rooms of the Early Education Center, you may see children being taught to read or listening to a Bible story.
Not “Just A Day Care”
In one classroom, the four year olds may be learning how to measure liquids and solids by making an apple pie. You may see the two year olds learning about healthy foods or see the crawlers trying to place a lid on a jar. We are a Center that promoteslearning through playing. Our families come to us because we have a good reputation in the community for teaching children in a Christ-centered atmosphere. We are not “just a day care.”

Curriculum
The desire of Grace Early Education Center is that all curriculum and activities be God-centered and present truth from a biblical perspective. Our infants through 4 year olds use a curriculum which is designed to suit the child’s needs developmentally and apply the Bible to daily activities.
Security
We monitor and record all classroom activities on a daily basis using a system of video cameras placed strategically throughout the classroom and building to maximize the children’s safety. We also have limited access through a lock-down security system on all of our doors.
Visits
Grace maintains an open-door policy, and parents may visit at any time. If you are just dropping by to check on your child, please come by the office and tell us that you are visiting. Grace has security policies in place and now requires visitors to check in with the office. Inside classroom visits need to be arranged with the teacher and Director, but visiting your child’s class is encouraged.

History and Philosophy
Child care at Grace Community Church was established in 1992. Since that time, Grace Early Education Center has become a way for the church to partner with parents and enhance the spiritual and developmental growth in all children. It is not our intention to replace the parenting responsibilities. Our desire is to come alongside the parents as they raise their children. Led by the Elder Board of Grace Community Church, the Early Education Center operates in full cooperation with Grace Community Church. The facility is licensed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
